This September 10, 2011 boxing event proves only that September 2011 is really a boxing month. Aside from the recently concluded Berto vs. Zaveck last week and the upcoming Mayweather vs. Ortiz on Sept. 17, yet another exciting match will be happening this Saturday that will surely add up to the list of great fights in the boxing history. The said fight will be the Gamboa vs. Ponce de Leon featherweight championship match. Gamboa (20-0, 16 KO) and de Leon (41-3, 34 KO) will be fighting for the IBF featherweight title which is currently Gamboa is holding.
The venue for the said fight will be at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA.
