Is Samsung’s Galaxy S2 GT-I9100 ICS update will be in the Philippines this March 10? I’ve mentioned on my recent post that Samsung Israel have announced the update to be available by 15th of the month but recent news today reveals that Samsung Philippines have announced that the said much awaited Android update will be available for S2 users this 10th of March.
I tried to check the said “news alert” from Samsung Philippines’ official website and found the following from searching it (here’s the link of the mentioned search result) but when I tried to click the result, it shows a blank result.
However, Samsung Philippines already prepared a FAQ page on how to update your Samsung Galaxy S2 to the latest ICS OS which you can find HERE. This only mean, that I just need to wait less than a day to have the ICS on my phone.
I will let you know guys if I already update my S2 and will give you a snapshots of the Android 4.0. LATER!
Update: Samsung Philippines made an announcement regarding the March 10th and its not good news for those Philippines S2 users. Here’s the message from their Facebook page:
I regret to inform you that due to the extended period we need for testing the ICS upgrade for Galaxy S II, we will be moving the release date. This is to ensure that no problems will be encountered on the phone after the upgrade. I am so sorry about the inconvenience but rest assured that we will keep you all posted on the confirmed release date.
In the end, there’s no fixed date yet to release the much awaited ICS update. Waiting game again… 🙁

@Regie Bueno, it is already available. Try checking it by using Kies if it is possible to be installed on your android device.
