In the celebration of the Independence day of the Philippines, I decided to put the flag of the Philippines on the sidebar of my blog. This is to inform everyone that I’m “100% Pinoy” and I’m proud to be one. “Pinoy” is the slang term for the word Filipino. It refers to the people from the Philippines.
Despite the holiday was moved to June 9, instead of the original date of the Independence day of the Philippines which is June 12, I still will celebrate it through this blog and I want to take this area of this post to greet every Filipino from every side of the world a Happy Independence day! May we not forget the hardship that our fathers and grand-grand fathers have done to achieve the Independence that we are experiencing right now!
