The first ever biggest chess event, mixed masters individual chess tournament in Capiz dubbed as “Duso… Oras Na!” concluded successfully yesterday. This event is supported by the Capiz provincial government under the leadership of Gov. Victor A. Tanco in cooperation with honorable Sen. Mar Roxas. This tournament is organized by Capiz Chess Association, Inc., the sole chess organization in Capiz that is currently affiliated to NCFP (National Chess Federation of the Philippines) under the leadership of Nelson Deita. The said chess competition was participated by several levels of players from different province of Visayas. Known personalities that joined the said tournament was FM Sander Severino, NM Rodolfo Toledo, NM Rodrigo Atutubo, NM Francis Jocson, NM Cesar Mariano and NM Arnold Cadiz.

Here are the final rankings (top 15) of the competition after the 6-rounds swiss system:

I hope I can join chess tournaments. But I don’t think so, I can’t even beat my brother in this board game.
