When I buy an iPad 64K last December, the first game that I purchase via iTunes was the Angry Birds HD. It costs me about $4.99 on the download. If you don’t know about it yet, well you should try it. You will surely enjoy this very addictive game from Rovio. The primary purpose of the game was to help the Angry Birds to have their revenge on the green pigs who stole the birds’ eggs. You use different kinds of birds to be hurled on a catapult and destroy the pigs on different puzzle positions and scenes.
You can watch the following video to have a glimpse of the game:
Now, when I got my Samsung Galaxy Tab last month from Smart Wireless Center, I tried to look for the same game via Android’s marketplace. I was so surprised that the said game is available and its 100% free. I also downloaded the Angry Birds Seasons version from the marketplace for free which actually costs about $1.99 on iPad’s iTunes Store.
This is one thing that I love with my tab, everything (apps) are free. I am just hoping that Samsung could invent a battery that can last longer – I hope that they could hear me! 🙂
By the way, the game Angry Birds is now available for PC and based on what I have read it will costs you $5 for the game.
Update: Angry Birds SD and HD is now available via Chrome’s web store for free and you can play it anytime with your CHROME browser through http://chrome.angrybirds.com/. Enjoy the fun and eliminate those pigs!
