It seems that everyone in the world now has his or her own blog. Some are doing it as a hobby while others are doing it to earn for a living. Some are not that serious but others almost spend all of their time blogging. Some developed an attachment to it while others got addicted that they can’t live a week without updating them. In this kind of enticement to this kind of online activity a lot of new diseases begun to sprout and that are commonly prevalent to bloggers. Here are some of those health issues that some (almost all) bloggers are facing or about to face:
- CTS (Carpal Tunnel Syndrome). The usual symptom of this is when you feel pain at your wrist or numbness and muscle weakness in the hand. This is usually cause by too much or repetitive hand activity. Non-ergonomic keyboards and mouse used might also promote this kind of condition.
- Heart Failure. Recent medical studies show that less sleep causes heart failure or heart attacks and since bloggers (and also programmers) usually sleep less than the recommended hours of sleep, they are potential victims of this very fatal disease. Actually I knew someone, a programmer, who died recently beacause of this condition.
- Obesity or Malnutrition ( 🙂 ). Bloggers usually eat less or eat more while online. Sometimes junkfoods are the main dishes of these people causing them not to get enough or too much nutrition they needed. Aside from that a lot of bloggers don’t have any body fit programs or exercises for themselves living them a very inactive lifestyle.
These can be avoided if we could just try to improve our lifestyle (if we could). In my case, I’m trying! 🙂

This is a problem not only to bloggers but to people who is addicted to computer technology like those chatters and gamers.

Yes i agreed….Even Diabetes would be gained because of sleepless…and this is definitely not good for our eyes….
Pero ano ang magagawa natin since we work hard for our family….Let us pray about this one…
