This Saturday, September 3, 2011 (US Time) will be a day for Andre Berto to redeem himself from his previous defeat. If you can remember, Andre Berto was the undefeated welterweight boxer who was beaten by the returning welterweight boxer, Victor “Vicious” Ortiz who also got a fight this coming September 17, 2011 dubbed as Mayweather vs. Ortiz “Star Power.”
Andre Berto will be fighting Jan Zaveck, a Slovenian IBF Welterweight champion challenging the world title of the latter and the boxing event is promoted as “BATTLE IN BILOXI.” The venue of the event is Beau Rivage Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Well, this match is crucial for Berto for him to return to the “spotlight” of boxing and this is his ticket for another big time match. He might have also a chance to get revenge against Ortiz if he will win this match or even win an opportunity to clash against the undisputed Floyd Mayweather Jr. This is the reason why I will watch this match this Saturday (Sunday here.)
